Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Summit supplies operators and service companies with a complete line of casing and cementation equipment, all manufactured in the U.S. and supported across major drilling regions. For more than two decades, we’ve focused solely on casing equipment — giving us the clarity, expertise, and precision needed to build products that perform in demanding well environments.

Our History & Milestones

Foundation & Halliburton partnership

Founded in Elk City, OK as a drill bit distributor for Halliburton, began providing Halliburton cementation products, and opened facilities in Woodward, OK and Cleburne, TX.

2004–06

Weatherford supply agreement

Discontinued the relationship with Halliburton and entered a new supply agreement with Weatherford.

2007

Pennsylvania expansion

Established new locations in Washington, PA and Montoursville, PA to support growing activity in the region.

2008–09

Headquarters to Fort Worth

Moved corporate and manufacturing headquarters to Fort Worth, TX, began manufacturing steel rigid centralizers and stop collars, and closed Elk City, OK and Cleburne, TX while opening new facilities in Canton, OH and San Antonio, TX.

2010–11

Composite centralizer patent

Introduced a patented composite centralizer, added Building 2 to expand capacity, and opened a location in Oklahoma City, OK to replace the Elk City and Woodward facilities.

2012–13

Bow spring & float in-house

Began manufacturing bow spring centralizers and float equipment in-house, discontinued the Weatherford supply relationship, opened facilities in Williston, ND, Greeley, CO, and Midland, TX, and added Building 3 to expand capacity.

2014

API Q1 & ISO certified

Received API Q1 and ISO certifications, shipped the first international order, and opened the Bossier, LA facility.

2015

Renovo Capital acquisition

Acquired by Renovo Capital, introduced mechanical stage tools, named Petroleum Services as agent for the Bakken while closing the Williston, ND facility, and closed the Canton, OH and Bossier City, LA facilities.

2016

Composite centralizers in-house

Began manufacturing composite centralizers in-house and added Building 4 as a stocking location to support continued growth.

2017

Non-welded bows & plugs

Began manufacturing non-welded bow spring centralizers and cement plugs and introduced a composite stage tool.

2019

First flotation sub

Manufactured the first flotation sub and closed the Greeley, CO and Oklahoma City, OK facilities as operations were consolidated.

2020

Gryphon Casing Solutions

Acquired Gryphon Casing Solutions, LLC, adding integrated shoe track and toe sleeve product offerings to the Summit portfolio.

2021

Scepter Supply & Summit Glider

Acquired Scepter Supply, LLC, adding the Summit Glider Centralizer product offering and further expanding Summit’s casing equipment solutions.

2023

Building 5 & injection molding

Added Building 5 to expand manufacturing capacity and began injection molding composite centralizers in-house.
